Jay’s work with Curious Families has mainly focused on creating sound design and electronic interactives, although he has been known to roll his sleeves up for a variety of building and performing tasks!
His favourite moment with Curious Families has to be creating the electronics for a wishing well that chewed and burped when something was thrown into it! -

“One of my favourite moments was when I photographed one of our immersive experiences. As a silent observer, I saw first-hand the magic of our creative play on the faces of kids and parents. They were absolutely fascinated, completely involved, and so excited to be together in that adventure universe. A great memory - for them, and for me :)''

Emily Ludicke
ILLUSTRATOR & GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Emily is the illustrator and graphic designer for Curious Families and she studied illustration at university. Her past experience includes illustrating for children’s books, such as Luna’s Adventure and a storybook about her ancestral home of St Helena. She previously created comic book recipe guides, as well as creating activity books and kid-friendly health and safety flyers, which were distributed to children across Birmingham and helped to get kids in the kitchen with their parents.
Her favourite moment with Curious Families so far has had to have been the creation of the Beckenham Place Park story map. So much time and thought went into every aspect of that map and it came out so beautifully. Her nephews loved it, too, which makes her so proud to work for such a fun and creative company.
